oks here we go... i just checked the "show itunes" option from the browser tab in the config section and still not showing the playlists that i created in itunes... i supposed that they charged in the playlists item in the browser, right?... the library file is in the default path of my HD. Should i do something special in itunes?....or its just not possible view my playlists, just like i created in itunes?...

This should work. Works for me. There's nothing you need to do in iTunes. Once I expand the iTunes entry in the left-hand browser window, I can see any playlist created in iTunes.

Try right-clicking on the iTunes entry in the browser window and then Reload to see if it updates itself.

ok....what do u mean reload?..."add to search db"? theres no reload option when u right-click... im not pretty sure what i should supposed to see in the right browser under "itunes folder icon", i just see the folders by artist of my music of course...cause i got them there.. but thats not what im looking for... i want to see my playlists created in itunes...or is just not possible?

what i understand is that my playlists like "intelligent playlists" and others should be displayed in vdj at the browser, right?... or i don understand the famous integration that in the manual is talking abut.

Do you have any entry in your browser window like the iTunes one listed above? If vdj is picking-up your iTunes (and you've got Config/Browser/Show iTunes selected) you should have this listed.

thats EXACTLY what i want to view, but it doesn't show a ### thing....as i said, my file db is in the default path that itunes create the library... i don't know what to do my friend...i just unchecked and checked the "show itunes" option but do not show the playlists like yours...im little frustrated...some one told me... download the registry tool, cause he supposed that i got a "customized" library (as you have, less than mine but your library is customized with your playlists that u created), i just did it but i don't know what to do in there... i got like 70 playlists there and would nice use them in vdj... all my music is perfectly sorted there.


And still no clear to me what you mean "reload" in you're last post.

BTW do u use customized itunes playlist in the browser?...or do u know someone do? i used to manage before buy vdjpro all my music in itunes and i created there, a lot of playlist and are perfectly sorted (around 200 playlists in my library). One of the reasons that i bought vdjpro, was the integration with itunes, and that i could manage my playlists. As i said... my library is customized (is not the default library that is installed when you download itunes and that comes just with a few playlists by default) and someone told me that my playlist doesn't show because of that (is customized)... and that the issue, could be fixed with the registry tool... i just downloaded but i don't know what to do in there.... do you?

ok, if you go CONFIG --> BROWSER, make sure iTunes is selected:


If thats ok then right click on the root directory and press reload:


Finally, is your iTunes library stored in the default location or have you moved it and set up a custom library location?

my file is in the default location, but the itunes icon doesn\'t even appear in the browser, thats why i cant make the reload action. the show itunes option is checked.

BTW do u use customized itunes playlist? or the default?

I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling VDJ in this case. It should be active by default, the fact that it isnt suggests that it maybe hasnt installed properly.

In the first picture i posted it shows the database location. Is yours blank??

BTW my itunes library is customized... what means that i got more playlists within the library than the default library... you just have the playlists that comes with the default library in itunes right? i have more than 200 playlists within

my itunes is highly custom too I have way more then 200 playlists and nested playlist folders etc



there has to be a reason its not showing. try the above link

i just did what your post says....

As you can see, my library has been always in the default path...i never made a change of path.

what else can i do?
