Forum: PC Version Technical Support - Topic: VDJ v6 + DJ Console RMX no headphones work?

Using VDJ 6.0.2 with the latest Hercules drivers for the DJ Console RMX (HDJS 3 Package) and can't seem to get the headphones to work on any of the aforementioned boards headphone jacks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know this community rocks =)

FYI - everything worked fine (except the headphones) even with the keyboard mapper but I have since then switched to it's correct preset within the pull down.

Same problem now i have installed Windows 7

I actually got it to work by going into the config/sound setup and putting a checkmark in the "apply EQ on external inputs"...hope this helps.

Wow, i thought W7 was garbage and returned a brand new top of the line HP laptop on account of it having that hehe


update: make sure you click "apply".

I finally sorted my config out using asioforall, picking the rmx asio then going into asioforall and making sure the rmx was active works fine now :-)

First thing to do, look at the audio configuration in VDJ:

- Input : None

- Output(s): Headphone > Master 1/2 - headphone 3/4

-Soundcard: DJ Console Rmx, > then check the box APPLY EQ ON EXTERNAL Sources

Then connect your speakers to output 1/2 on the back of the console, and your headphone to the headphone connector.

Simple as that.

The latest Hercules drivers for the DJ Console RMX is HDJS_4..... now go get it! :-)
