I want these to be able to control VDJ8, however I want to have the sound output the RCA's and go into an external mixer. Any thoughts on how the configuration should look?

not really clear on what your asking. but right now my set up iz two Denon SC3900's, VDJ 8, American Audio Mixer 14MXR.... so what do u want to know ?

Are you using your ADJ mixer as a sound card, or as an external mixer?
If you are using it as an external mixer, can you please take a screenshot of your controller configuration and post it?

yes using my 14mxr as the soundcard. its a known problem with using the denon asio soundcard. ive tried in the past to use the denons asio but its always problems.
Output - external mixer
card - american audio 14mxr

yes all sliders & nobs work within the software & here iz a few pics of my set up ;-)
