You mean threads in this forum?
Some threads are marked as pro users only, and will only appear when you login as a pro user

Even when I post in the general discussion area?

Anywhere.

Levels can be set at NLU, LE, Pro, Experienced Pro, VIP and on up into moderator and staff levels, so that those posts are invisible to users below that level.

So because I go to VDJ forum everyday and don't log in I don't see some posts, especially in general?? I have helped many new users over the years and only log in when I respond to their question. I can understand that in other topics to put them at different levels but in General Discussions? Doesn't make sense... Then it's not a general discussion area! My post should be transferred to the correct section of the forum...if there is one and I'm advised. Maybe there are others just looking over the forum that don't log in until they see something that they can help with. And to see a response to my question in General I have to log in? Nuts! Shouldn't there be a sticky with this warning so new purchasers of VDJ know that they might have to log in the next time to see if there is a response to their question or where the question went? And I use Google to search mostly using key word as it has been mentioned many times that the search tool in the forum is not really useful in many cases. Those questions that we ask will not show up in google search if you hide them I assume?

Why would you (or any registered user) come here and not log in? :-/

This forum is not alone in having different user levels and areas/posts specifically for certain users.

Some forums won't let you see anything until you log in!

• Posts may be edited, removed or levelled up at the discretion of the forum moderators.

• Your posts must not contain offensive, abusive, racist, religious, political, sexual, adult or pornographic material. Please bear in mind that minors may be reading your messages.

It's all written in the forum rules and they are always visible and even before you enter a certain forum area.

And, I believe, your other topic was leveled to Pro User because you used the word "s*cked" in your thread title.

To be honest... 1 I was never made aware or read anywhere that some questions are not visible unless you log in in this forum since I have been on it since 2005! 10 years! The only one I had to be logged into VDJ was the section for Experienced members forum. Never heard that for "General". 2nd This is the only forum I have ever had to use in my life or subscribed to. 3rd I don't like to log into anything on public computers like I am on now. This includes banking, FB, electricity, phone and cable accounts. Everyones life story is not like yours or staff or mods...

My night sucked not VDJ8! I still continued to use it all night as per my text. There was just things I couldn't do... I didn't trash VDJ8 once. Sorry I thought I was a porn site so I used the word "sucked". Only pro users can use that word! LMFAO

Just FYI:
A non leveled post can be read by ANYONE: Minors, web spiders, e.t.c.
So, "bad" language has to be "moderated" a little bit.
BTW: No-one removed your post/topic.
It was just made "invisible" to non logged-in members just to avoid exposure on minors

Since when is Sucked a bad word? Seriously Dude!! I've heard it on Sesame Street growing up... Give me a better reason. It's all about negativity! That's it that's all to VDJ and others sales... Honesty is the best policy when trying to explain something to a client. Not sucked is a bad word. It was not used in a sexual meaning at ALL. Just try help me with my problem and I'll go away! I'm already burnt from the outcome of this message. It sucks!

I'm calling BS, I'm certain the word SUCK has never been used on Sesame Street in the same way you are using it.
Such as, "Man, school sucks." or "Oscar is such a grouch, he sucks."
When speaking to professionals speak as a professional.
