Sujet (CANNOT CONNECT TO THE SERVER)

sooo i had vdj7 then upgraded too vdj8.1 i try to login and it says cannot connect to the server..
i got internet.. i have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times restarted my computer twice...
i downloaded vdj8.1 off virtualdj.com
i also got a license for my controller but cant use til i can login..

Have you by any chance had a "dodgy" version of Virtual DJ installed on your computer?

It may be that you need to clean your hosts file, because the "dodgy" copies write certain things to it which cause things such as you're experiencing.

Go to the 'addons for VDJ 8' menu (under the download section here) and get hold of the Fix Virtual DJ Hosts utility.
