I love the flanger effect in VDJ7 but don't like the flanger in VDJ8. Is there a better one out there? I'm reading about VST's but dont see anything in the manual on how to use those in 8.

just try to use google for free VST Plugins if you are not satisfied with the default flanger effect and drop them in the audio effects in the VDJ Root Folder.

try this one its free -> http://www.bluecataudio.com/Products/Product_Flanger/
download this for windows http://www.bluecataudio.com//Vault/Products/Product_Flanger/BlueCatFlangerVSTSetup.exe
after you install it (C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstplugins) copy these 2 files (BC Flanger 3 VST(Stereo) data and BC Flanger 3 VST(Stereo).dll) to \Documents\VirtualDJ\Plugins\SoundEffect
and you will be good to go try the preset light flange works nice.
this one has many settings so i am sure you can find a flange sound to your taste if you mess with it enough.
also for other free vst look here http://www.bluecataudio.com/Products/Category_0_Freeware/
