Sujet Need some advice on a new soundcard...

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hi everyone!

So after bying my second ESI Maya44 sound card, thinking the first one had burned out, it now turns out that the card has compatibility issues with certain ASUS motherboards. Guess what my mobo is :)

Now, I've searched the forums and found that the M-Audio Delta 44 is the most recommended card to go with Virtual DJ. I've been trying to get my hands on one, but I keep getting outbid on eBay. They're not available in retail anymore. Is there any other comparable (as to almost zero latency) sound card (maybe a more recent one) that plays well with VDJ8?
Thank you for your advice.

Does it have to be internal? What OS are you using? PCI or PCIe?

How many channels in and out does the card need to have? What's your budget?

Wow... and to think what I think when I see guys posting questions without providing the needed info... Sorry about that. I'm bidding at the same time I am posting this, so I got a little distracted!

PCI or PCIe
at least 1 stereo in and 2 stereo out
balanced if possible
cannon jack connectors

Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit

...but I really just wanted to know which cards have very low latency and no compatibility problems with VDJ8.

Just missed out on the last Delta 44 card...
:(
Would the M-Audio Delta Audiophile 24/96 also be okay? (It uses the same driver...)
