I love these on Mix Emergency. And the sequencer is awesome as well.
Some videos are boring even though the sound is good so I really need a way to spice the videos up.

I've got a sneaky plugin that firstly works out ms/beat or fractions of a beat, you can then use that value to set up a repeating script.
So repeating script on beat (or fraction)
Video isn't my thing but I imagine just switching video transitions and a bit of automated v xf movement (all sync'd to the beat) would qualify as an fx, the beauty is it puts the sequencing into the users hands.
I'll do a test or two, I'll knock up some copypasta script and, just need a couple of brave windows video users to try stuff out.

I'm sorry - my son was in hospital for a double hip osteotomy, which then ended up getting infected with pseudomonas and staphylococcus. The net result of which is that I haven't had masses of time to spare due to being stuck in multiple hospitals. This is vastly more important to me than releasing some plugins :p
You can already do beat based video transitions anyway using the AutoVideoTransition plugin btw.
As for new effects, well I've got a few in with beta testers right now - here's a couple of samples:

Scott I don't blame you as a person and yes I know about your son, hope everything is on the up n up now.
I blame Atomix because the fault lies with them and only having one person (at least it seems that way to me) who is able to produce any type of fx.
As far as fxs goes you already know what I want but because we're both getting older I'll say it again ;-p
I would love to see the type of fxs Mix Emergency uses. Those are some of the smoothest and most robust video fxs I've seen when it comes to dj programs.
I would also love to see an fx sequencer of sort in VDJ. Sure this could be done with POI but that requires a shit ton of work.
I'd still like to see better qtz file support because that is still kind of lacking.
Transitions I don't really worry to much about because I use my logo (mask) 90% of the time anyways.
I understand that VDJ depends on the public at large to make fxs but this is a failure and I've always said that.
I don't except things to happen overnight but I'll repeat my post every month till I see results ;-p
