Sujet Grouping Tag

Virtual DJ 8 is not reading my ContentGroup tags that exist before the file sees VDJ8

I have many files with this tag that do not get imported.

if I add a Grouping tag inside VDJ8 they work fine. the problem I have is with files that have it before adding to the database.

I am using all 320kbps Mp3 files and they use ID3v2.3

this is making it hard to sort my files.

Which tagger do you use? I tag my files with Tag & Rename and Grouping field gets read by VirtualDj properly...

foobar2000 and sometimes mp3tag neither of which gets read.

let me try with tag and rename

i seem to have it working with tag and rename not sure whats happening with the other software.
