Hello team, it would be great if you could adjust the recording quality a bit more flexibly by hand. At the moment there are 3 options Low (128kbps) - Mid (196) - High (320). Would it be possible to set these settings using the virtual slider in the options?
Hallo Team , es wäre toll wenn man die Aufnahmequalität etwas flexibler per Hand einstellen könnte . Im Moment sind 3 Möglichkeiten vorhanden Low(128kbps) - Mid(196) - High(320) . Wäre es möglich diese Einstellungen per virtuellem Schieberegler in den Optionen einzustellen ?

The bit rate. More than just 192kbps, for example 256kbps. just a little more variability so that everyone can adjust it as needed. The smaller the bit rate, the less sound volume is stored in the MP3. Many DJs in Germany work with MP3 and not with WAV format.

That's a difference of only 28MB per hour.
In what situations is a file of 115MB for one hour fine, but a 144MB file too big?
If size is a concern, just select 192kbps. That's already transparent for 99% of the music and 99% of the people.

There can be some improvement using vbr, but if you are choosing mp3 your primary concern is probably compatibility, and mp3 is not s format really designed for vbr.
If you care about the best quality/size trade off ogg is a better choice and then quality based compression levels are used

The difference in sound matters. At 128kbps it is far too little, at 196 a little better and at 256 for example close to 320
