Do you have any videos encoded with the AV1 codec?

NO

Rather than just saying "no", it would be useful to tell Adion what format the videos which causes crashes are in (codec etc).

As soon as i get home will give you the requested information, the funny thing is that been using the same video format for 5 years and never experienced this situation until installed VDJ new version....

From reading people with similar problems it seems there is a previous VDJ 8.5 version 6257 that does not experience this problem.
Is there a way to uninstall this version and go back to a version that wont have this problem???

Hi Devora, do you have solution for your question?
I have same problem with V8.5 - 64 - b6294
I'm crazy because VDJ it closes when load in some video music, but I can't identify why it, and what kind of format will close the software, before playing it.

I got around all these issues by just using the 32 bit version. I have had zero problems for months now. Love it! No, I dont have stems.. so what, I have a stable platform that is 100% reliable.

Probably would be same just disabling stems in the 64-bit version then I guess...
(aka set mathEngine in the settings to disabled, if your computer cant handle it)
