To import iTunes playlist you can just right-click on the very left part of the music browser, at some empty space (not at a folder of file), and the "import iTunes.." will show..

It will make a VirtualFolder for each iTunes playlist

hope that helps ;)

Why make playlists in another program when you can make it in VDJ .
Open VDJ and locate songs you want.
Put them in the playlist section.
When finished selecting, just name and save the playlist.

Hi there,

Is there a way that VDJ reads the m3u playlists made in windows media player?
I know VDJ reads them from the original location, when they are saved as m3u formats.
But...is it possible to import the playlists directly from the media player?
My music on it's original location(external harddisk) is a mess, but in the media player it's totally organised, would be heaven for me if VDj could read THOSE lists from the media player. (Seems to be possibe with i-tunes, 90% of laptop users have a pc, so it should be possibe, I hope.)

Anyone out there who can spent some moments on this one?? Please.
Bye, regards
Floor

I know this is an ancient thread, but here's how to import .m3u playlists to Virtual DJ:

1. Export the playlist from Winamp, Windows Media Player, etc...
2. Hover over the playlist panel
3. Click the lock icon to keep it open
4. Drag the .m3u file into the playlist panel

That's it!

Import Itunes playlist is very easy. Remember to save you playlist first in itunes

open vdj 7 pro, go to config
click on browser and tick Show Itunes
vdj will automatically show your itunes playlist.

hope this help
