Well I grew in the what would have been a sub of chicago if not for the lake....lol East Chicago is east of the city in indiana. I lived in what is known as the harbor!!!. I first herd House music back in 83 on a little well know radio station called WBMX!! In 86 I got my set of TT though not the original 1200's. I got a set of belt driven SLBD-1 with the old 4 ch no cross fader radio shack realistic mixer!!! I had the pleasure of listening to the greats such as Farley, Kenny Jason, Mickey Oliver, Ralphie Rosario, Fast Eddie and so on.... I did my first gig what I was 13 with 10 records that I either borrowed or stole!!!...lol got out of Dj'ing in 93 because the music changed so much that I did not what to change kinda like the DJ'S today that dis VDJ and becomming a father and going to work. I got back in the game in 02 and have never looked back. I owe a lot to the pioneer's of house here in chicago and have never forgotten them. I play old school house when I get a chance and hope to do so on VDJ Radio...
