The name is Mac Rob. I recently undertook DJ-ing as a hobby, and own a couple 800 watts powered speakers. So it's not so bad for just starting. I'm based out from the Bay Area,more specifically Richmond,CA...if you know the area, then you kno bout the murders,high homicide rates, crazy nights, gun shots past 12am,etc...i used to be caught up with that ignorant lifestyle, but have found something more productive in life in the form of music and most importantly education. I drop the midnite hour hustle for the real grind of obtaining a great education, and hope to transfer to UC Berkeley as an Civil Engineer major. I'm currently a triple major in community college as Math, Civil Engineering, and Architecture. When not hitting the books, i'm usually playing with my DJ software!-->CUE!!haha..funnest thing ever..real talk. And when i'm not doing that, then im in the studio making music, as i'm also a rapper. My lyrical content doesn't reflect the current hyphy culture so much though. I'm more so, a contemplating conscious rapper. I don't strive for fame whatsoever, but i wouldn't mind it! LOL...on a serious note though bruh, i rap in hopes that my voice is heard, and to give a positive message to those willing to listen,especially in THA RICH(aka murder capitol). Nobody guided me or gave good advice when i was younger, so my main goal in life is to reach out to others and do what i love. Because when i DJ or when i''m in the studio, i forget all the pain and life issues, and live for the moment. That's basically my life in a nutshell, and if you actually read this whole thing, then THANK YOU VERY MUCH! haha Take care, and continue doing what you do ppl!

I successfully pulled off my 1st official gig, and it went perfect!! No mistakes whatsoever...it was a wedding too, so i had to make sure nothing went wrong! But everything was great. I got my business cards out, and put on quite an impressive light show to, and the music was clear. I used the numark c3usb with no problems. Thanks Dj Rude for the advice! I'm just so excited that i came across no issues. Nearly the whole wedding crowd was dancing too..i'll need to find videos and post them from the wedding. I think we had 200 guest for the wedding too, so the crowd wasn't too big, but it certianly wasn't small. The wedding was for my sister, so it made the gig even more special for me, and made my family proud. My g/f did the photography, as she's a professional photgrapher, so everything was great, but also kepted within reasonable price ranges for the family, so we can have a great time. It's just all the more special for me, b/c it was joyous day but my grandmother couldn't be there to enjoy, as she passed away a month ago. So we were unsure how the family was gonna pull together for the wedding day and if the extended family would be in a party mood after the recent passing..but everybody had fun and danced..sure there tears..but it was great, and my only wish was that my grandmother could've been there to see me get down with my 1st DJ gig for a family function...But i must give a huge shoutout to the Virtual DJ family for all their help on the forums, as those came in handy!! And again thanks DJ Rude for all your advice, it truly did come in handy.
