Made Buttons for samples in Launchpad S and want to control the volume of specific samples.
I have 16 samples.
button [sampler 10 play_stop] works fine.
But slider [sampler 10 volume] doesn´t.
(numbers 1-9 work fine)
how to change volume of sampler 10 ?

Sorry, but tried all syntax variants. volume of samples 1-... change.
Volume of sample 10 doesn´t move...
So even sampler_volume 10 has no effect.

Is sampler slot 10 part of a Sampler group ?
If so, then try..
sampler_volume_nogroup 10
Also, as Rune posted above, check the List view, because the Trigger/Pad view is usually following the matrix of the connected device and positions may differ.

the problem seems to be with the pads:
green ones react to sampler 1-3 play_stop as well as sampler 1-3 volume
for yellow one button [sampler 9 play_stop]
purple one is fired from button [sampler 10 play_stop] and reacts on slider [sampler_volume 5]
This is confusing...

you only have 5 samples though..
so sampler_play_stop 5 is probably the one you want to use then
But you organized them in a grid perhaps, so it might have a slot number different that apper as in screen shot

So now I used [sampler_volume_nogroup...] for each sample. Just to be sure.
In order to assign the correct samples to the buttons and sliders, it is important to load them into the sampler bank in the correct order. (Otherwise the assignment gets confusing).
Anyway, my problem is solved now. Thanks
