Sujet Where can I obtain DJ Furniture? - Page: 1

Cette partie de ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes

I am looking for a solution that will help me out and was wondering what you guys had in mind.
I am looking for a sturdy stand that will accomodate my laptop (obviously!) my 2 x SL1210's and perhaps have to aerial stands for my 2x CDJ1000's
I want it to look nice and and not just like a deckstand that I'd take to a gig as it is to go into my front room.
Any ideas? ... (Please note I am not a millionaire and cannot afford to have a chippie come design and build me a custom job!!)

Thanks again friends

Phil

just a thought Phill, do you not know anyone with a mig welder, this way you can custom design your own frame to suit your needs and if you don't know anyone take your design to a local blacksmiths or fabricators/garage and they will put it together for next to nothing and is far cheaper than buying one off the shelf...

Phil, Tayla is right mate

Get in contact with a little Engineering/Fabrication workshop near you. (BTW where abouts are you in the UK) Go along with a drawing or a few ideas on paper and see what they can do for you.

You may even get a bargain at this time of year and especially with this "recession". Small Engineering firms will be wanting the work, just to keep things ticking over. I know at my place they've slashed to prices just to get the work in.

Or Phil, you could take a look at this mate. But it may be out of your budget. Looks nice though.

That is one nasty stand table, I like it! Would you be able to built it and what is the price?
I think that wood color should be a bit darker ;)

Well, they are made by a company called Spacetek - they are in the UK but the company has to import them to the UK from their US division.

I am waiting on a price back as I have fallen in love with them but an estimate would be around £2300 delivered.

Check out their website here for more info - they can be obtained in around 50 different colours/finishes and they are solid.

if thats your budget then pinch the design and the fabrication of frame should cost no where near the £200 mark, then cover with "flexi board" to your own finish... jobs a good un

C'mon Terry, I just tell them I'm gonna marry them, I don't actually do it. Besides, since you and I go way back, I thought you would do the wedding for free.
