No there isn't, but there is one that kills the bass, bass_kill, but this just completely kills the bass.

You can record/create a macro that can carry out many functions at once. i.e. crossfade and killbass on deck 1

Check the user guide for details

If you bring the nxt track a fraction b4 or after or start the nxt track bang on time then drag it or advance it by a very small/slight ammount, you will hear the bass, at first osscilate, then combine, harmonise and then osscilate again. Some tracks have sounds that council out other very similar sounds on the other track, thats life ! or ya can try a graphic on 1 track and drop all the top end, and then increase the Vol/gain for that channel and match ur crossfading to the beat of the bass, that should by all accounts should ''beef up the bass'' lol hope that helps a bit m8 ;-)

Hi guys!!

It appears that I have a problem with my bass or just my controls, not really sure.
I accidently killed the bass on deck 2 (while trying out a shortcut) but I can't turn it back on (neither via shortcut nor the panel) !
Any ideas ? Thanks in advance :)

To answer the original point, you can map keys Q and W, A and S, and Z and X to manipulate the frequency controls for deck one by:

Config
Mappers
Key Learn
(Press Q)
in the box type 'deck 1 eq_high -5%
Rinse, and repeat for all six buttons.

For W use +5%

For A, S, Z and X, use deck 1 eq_mid and deck 1 eq_low + and -5%

This sets the far-left six characters on the keyboard to adjust hi, mid and low +/- 5%

Adjust the percentages if the dials don't 'turn' fast enoough.

Could try the same thing the other side with O, P, K, L, N & M for deck two.

Great info - Thanks!

Though does mapping new keys take effect on the free version as well?

I have the free VDJ for now and I've mapped Z to be "deck 1 eq_low-5%" for example, yet it doesn't seem to take effect on the actual interface while a track is playing.

Is there something in addition one has to do to lock in these new mappers?

Will appreciate any assistance with this.

Thanks!

you just need to add in a space

"deck 1 eq_low -5%"
