Sujet: New shortcut to align phase

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I would like to have a shortcut that that align the big square of the phase of the desk A with big square of the phase of the desk B.
This feature is important for mixing RNB music.
It should be also nice to have this kind of alignment when we beatlock a sampler.

attention: I am not asking to have the shortcut that align one square with any other square of the phase in the other desk.

If your CBG's are good and superposed (AB) you just have to use "skip beat" to get the next CBG/Beat.

Align each sample would be amazing..i agree

clax I know about the skip feature.
But sometimes we need to click two or three time on skip to align the big square.
What I am looking for (and it's missing) is to have a shortcut that make the job without having to click on skip.

I agree with Kabensa

skip beat is not the best solution, but you can create it with using beatlock.

I press a key I've set especially for align CGB (wide or little) when the track is playing and when it's just loaded.

When I load a track, I press the key and the BPM is aligned with other track;
when it is playing, I press the key and the CBG are in phase automaticaly.

I mention you I've set a beatlock shortcut for each desk, and so, there are two ones.

Have I answered to your demand ?

Phenryll adjust BPM and put the CBG in phase is not what I am looking for.

I want to have a shortcut that put the CBG in phase and the big square of the phases (desk A and B) inline.

If you managed to create this shortcut please publish it in this post.

Yes, what we would like to have is in fact an advanced beatlock mode:
instead of set together the first cbg not far, we would like to set together the first big cbg not far (so i think the computer needs to be more powerful as the big square not far is maximum to 2 beats contrary to the current system which is maximum 1 beat)

very good idea, i always put the big CBG aligned when i mix. I often use the skip beat to get the big CBG in phase, this is a los of time

Yes but I don't really understand why you have a problem to align the big CBG: Don't you launch your track during the good beat ?

That's the problem Clax: time lost to wait for the good beat.

I think its more like slightly wrong bpm this would cause cbgs to go off

I also asked in my post

It would be also nice to have this kind of alignment when we beatlock a sampler.

And for this feature we don't have the skip option.
