Ok, i know i should RTFM ;-)
Just one thing i have been thinking about .
Is it possible to controll all the important functions
in VDJ via a plugin to do a hardware mapper to a console/controller
like Hercules, Behringer etc.
Let's assume that i already have solved all communication
to the hardware and just want to controll VDJ.

Yes you can.
But, for this type of hardware controler (sending midi commands), you can also use keyboard shortcuts.

Great,
This is an idea i have for a first plugin project:
Since i also do a lot of hardware design etc i'm thinking of building a really cheap "PRO" Controller and interface it via the LPT port to the computer. Then map that to VDJ via plugins.
I always use an external mixer with VDJ so i don't need "console" functionality, just a dual controller.
I could also use USB but that is a little bit more work.
