Hello,
Any chance the team could make an app for the iphone / itouch - Got a feeling that everyone would download it as a backup.

There is already an app itouchDJ or something like that. You can set it up to control VDJ through midi.
I have used it with 5.21 and it's good.
Do a search, there's other threads about it somewhere!

If you have a computer with VDJ, why would you need an iphone app and need to control VDJ with midi? I don't get it.

An app called ITM MidiLab has 16 buttons that I map effects to. Also there is an app called iTM DJ that can control VDJ, both decks and the mixer (wireless hiccups included). The midi map for it is a monster also but VDJ does make it easier.

A combined app that allowed you on one page to control the start/stop, cue & loop for each deck would be awesome
and on second page allowed you to search the database while your out on the floor and add requests, great when your out talking to guests.

About that (iTM DJ), Squatman972, a French user, made that blog---> http://fr.virtualdj.com/homepage/squatman972/blogs/3559/VDJ_on_iPhone__How_to_do_that__(ITM_DJ).html
Everything is explained ;-)

as been pointed out earlier, what is the point if you lose control of the lappy, you need a seperate output source for that unfortunate time if it ever happens to you.
