How do you record your voice along with the music while its playing?

It's not possible at present without an external mixer.

do i have to have a program for the external mixer? Do you any other program i can you to record my music and my voice at the same time? Something like a sound recorder

- or save your message in mp3 format (using a program like sound recorder). Example: "This is DJBringItBack dropping that old school thang...let me see you work it!" then mix it in durring your set.

It seems to me that a mixer is really required for any serious gig. I don't see how you are able to get adequate amplification of your headphone cueing without one.

Even a tiny el cheapo like a Gemini 2-ch will do and has Mic inut with EQ.

Its been asked for as a new feature, in the future VDJ might support mic recording

Use Audacity or some other recorder. Audacity records whatever is on the soundcard. VDJ only records what is going thru the software.
