Sujet: Asio Driver Issue with Virtual Dj 6.0.5

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hello, my name is Keith. I just finished installing VDJ Version 6.0.5. I'm also a beta tester for Denon's Asio Driver for the Denon X1700 mixer that will work with Window's Vista 64 Bit Operating systems. The Asio Driver is installed correctly. Here is the current setup.

Settings for Asio Driver in the Asio Driver Config Program you gave me

Asio Ver. 2.1
Sampling – 96.0khz / Can’t Change
Bit Resolution - 24 Bit / Can’t Change
Sampling Rate Size – 512

Using Virtual DJ 6.0.4
Windows Vista 64 Bit

Sound Setup in Virtual Dj
Input – Nothing Selected / All it gives is Time code options
Output – External Mixer Selected
Sound Card – Asio Driver is choosen

When I click in Virtual DJ Asio Driver Config, Nothing happens

I click Apply, It Says, Error with Asio Driver

Does VDJ support 64 Bit Audio Drivers.

So does anyone from Virtual have any answers to this question.

Im still waiting for an answer about 64bit OS also.. type in the search about 64bit and see if anyone else has a similar problem.

Hey all,

I am currently running vdj 6 on a win 7 64 bit quad core pc and I had an x1700 but I took it back in November due to no 64 bit drivers. vdj is 64 bit compatible (I have been using at various clubs for 3 months now) and if there is a new 64 bit driver that will work with the x1700 I would go back and get it. I love that mixer! Any new driver info would be greatly appreciated and if there is any other questions I can answer let me know.

I have been reading up on simular issue and it seems like there are alot of people waiting on this driver. One person quoted that the majority of laptops being sold today are loaded with windows 7 64bit operating systems. I also learned that they are beta testing the driver and it should be out soon but it makes you wander how many people are turning to different products and what kind of sales they are loosing. I can wait though, its and awesome mixer.

I posted about this issue months ago & am now at the point where I'll go ahead & purchase a different sound card to work with my VDJ w/windows 7-any suggestions on which card to purchase?

You have to setup the mixer to an output sample of 44.1 instead of 96.
This change is done in the Mixer, and not in the ASIO config.

Hello,

This is a common problem when audio sound cards have no Control Panel to change this settings manually. You can use another software to try to change that settings.

Some sound card don't change until some software try to use it in lower sample rate. Sometimes VirtualDJ Pro could do that, some others don't. I use sometimes WinAmp or even other recording software that allow me to change sound card sample rate.

If your sample rate could not be set to 44.1, it would not allow you to run VirtualDJ Pro. However, if you mixer "recall" last settings, maybe you can set to 44.1 in another 32 bits computer.
