hello all. I've been given a replacement (dual core, bigger ram etc) for my Lovely little Dell and am having problems getting it to run smoothly. The sound jerks and jumps slightly especially when searching and loading a new track onto the player. i've gone through the Hercules tech advise regarding turning off wireless etc but it still happening!! any other tips etc?

make sure if its windows to have decoder set to mp3.also check your performance settings ie fastest best quality ect.uncheck safe mode.

i'm gazing into my crystal ball.....concentrating , squinting , concentrating .....
what's the operating system , how much ram , is it 32 or 64 bit , does it meet system requirements ???
