when you buy the s4 , you don't need to use Vdj .
S4 is not only a hardware piece , it's an all in one concept = hardware + software .
I have an s4 & i don't want to do a mapper for it , it works perfect as should .
Denon 6000 is the best option in 4 channels for use with Vdj .

things the s4 missed, monitor speaker out, with a dial. Its got the ability to work great with program but is not easy if possible to re map. Good controller, but is not stand alone. Its also missing a eq on the Mic ... Love the sampler as I spin club.. Not weddings and have virtual for video and effects.. The set up is able to do a lot more but I have expectations that virtual dj 8 is going to make it need a up date..

respect to the company for the s4 update .. That was fast...I don't usually look through the skins and stuff. Kicking butt again.. S4 is coming to me June 1....
