I don't mind paying for the software, but before I flash my CC I like to know a little more about the makers of it.
Is it company? Where are they based? Do they have an address? Do they have a phone?
What is the upgrade policy when new version arrives? It is not on the site!
What do I get after paying? A licence#? Can I install the program on my Desktop AND my Laptop. What about re-install after a system crash, can I do this or is it limited somehow?
I also found it confusing the the ordering section online says 'costs € 99' and when you go further on suddenly it is € 112.20 ? It also says buying a 'Standard version' of VDJ while most registred users have 'Professional' under they nick. Does VDJ exist in different versions: Standard, Pro,...

Yes you're right even it's written standard version on the website it's the professional version. The professional version can only be bought on the website whereas home edition is DJ Mix Station.
Price, you have to add the VAT (TVA in French) in each country that's why

li125,
You sound like the professor I met the other day at a DJ store here in Fla, who was complaining about PCDJ. I gave that guy the virtualdj.com URL, praising the outstanding support and service we receive at an amazingly low price. Are you in Florida?
