Denon says just under 5 kilos (4,7) for the DN-MC6000
And the 2000 just over 1 kilo (1,3) so add up two controllers and a mixer you easy hit 5 kilos or just above.

Ok fellas who already have the unit and plan on makin a video..................we already now what features it has. We all have read the same sites, manuals, etc.etc.......so how about a quick mix then tells us how it feels, like if things to close or not enough of this or that. How comfortable you feel when using it.
Thanks for the time and info

Thinkin about buying this controller... I would like to have a very compact and portable rack mount for it, do you think that this fits?

or this?

I don't think either of those will work

Both of those cases are too deep. You don't need that.

*This is for all the users that are using VirtualDJ with a 2 deck skin using the INT MIX mode. By the way I strongly suggest using the external mix mode for the lowest latency
So here goes, in config under sound setup your settings should be as follows.
Inputs - None
Outputs - External Mixer
Soundcard ASIO - then choose the Denon ASIO driver.
Now make sure that the CF mode is set to video only. If it is on audio you will run into problems. The way VirtualDJ is routed it will be using channel 2 and 3 on the MC6000. So set 2 and 3 to midi. 1 and 4 can be set to your line 1 and line 2 for external sources.
Last but not least the most important step. Go into config again. Locate the mappers tab. Make sure the Denon DN-MC6000 is listed in the drop down menu. Locate volume in the list of actions and click on it. Now in the action box to the right delete the word VOLUME. Click Ok and close the config menu.
You should be all set. Now when going back to a 4 deck environment simply go back in and click volume under mappers and write volume in the action box.
Hope this helps!!
Or just grab the mapper :P

Odyssey case looks cool but also too deep as well as all the other cases I've seen, or is the cover part underneath the case in the pic?
How do I get one of those to northern europe?

I live in asia, so my unit came with traktor L.E instead of VDJ L.E. I tried entering the serial number of the DNMC6000 in there but it said "invalid serial".
Posté Thu 23 Dec 10 @ 2:52 pm
Check if you entered it correct - Serial has the format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX That's it.

Ah ok well then the LE serial would be for Traktor not VirtualDJ.
