Quite often a user will ask a question and the answer will assume either MAC or WIN and often get it wrong.
Could we have the ability to store in our profile our platform along with a text box to say what version.
Then in the forums you would get either a MAC or WIN icon and if you hover over the detail from the text box.
Could prevent unnecessary post...

That's why I ask for a text field associated with each. That way the user can enter "MAC blah blah bootcamped with Windows 7". When you hover over the MAC icon you get the above text.
For example I would have the PC box ticked with the text "Gateway Laptop, Win 7 32-Bit Ultimate, 4Gb RAM"
