has anyone been able to play m2v fles?

well if they are named m2v in fact they may be named wrong. M2V is the video stream only when making a video. There is a m2v and an audio file and you use a program like TMPGENC to combine them. Try adding m2v to the extensions manager of VDJ and set it to be opened with the Internal video decoder or rename the file to .mpg
