Why is configuring Voice\Mic whiles broadcasting with VD so complicated, surely if Sam and Winamp can make it so easy how come VD do the same, being that Internet DJing becoming a massive hit, is it in VD interest to make this as easy as poss.

The changes were made to allow you to use the mic in a more flexible manner, including sampling, scratching and FX, whilst also allowing console users to use their microphones - from devices like the NS7 for example.
Of course no-one is forced to use VDJ 7 - if they don't like changes they can stay with VDJ 6.
Since there are already threads on this subject, I don't feel we need another. There are plenty of instructions, tutorials and videos already available.
