Yes all soundcards can work with VDJ.
The number of input/outputand the ASIO bility doesn't change anything.

Does the soundcard need 4 inputs and 4 outputs? Also, does it need to have ASIO capabilities?

If you expect to yse timecoded vinyls or CD you need an ASIO soundcard. If you don't expect to use them you don't need it.

The number of input/output depends. You need at least 2 outputs (deck A & B). It's cool to have a third one for the sampler and one for the headphone.

will i be able to plug in my headphones to the mixer, and use the headfone crossfader?????

That's your choice. You can plug your headphones into your mixer or into your soundcard and use the VirtualDJ settings.

Yes if your headphones are connected to your mixer you can crossfade between each channel you want.

so to use turntables, and a mixer, with tcv's i need how many out puts, and inputs?????????????????????????????

hey brennan how many turntables are you planning on using?
Each turn table runs in stereo right? A left and right - 2 plugs.
So two (2) turntables X 2 = 4 inputs.

Need it be said any clearer?
