You can't yet...

Are we any closer to having a release date for this? I was surprised to find out that there isn't even a basic text plug-in for mac, a feature that comes standard on the Windows release. Wait or no wait, I would still rather have my mac LOL.

It will be ready when it's ready, but I can guarantee it won't be in the next 2 weeks.

A bit confused. The "bundle" in the download section doesn't seem to come with installers. I can download the mac file off the VDJ site but am not able to install this into the software.

You have to copy the bundle file to the relevant plugin folder.
Not sure what that has to do with this thread though as this plugin isn't available yet?

If it will be available within the day, that's a perfect timing for my event tomorrow. LOL!
If not, I might try to use bootcamp (Windows 7) and get used to utiliilizing text on an event. Text2D is not too bad neither... but of course you don't get that Mac stability and performance on bootcamp.

ScrollText is available for the PC anyway, so you wouldn't need to worry. My experience from running both versions now is that I still find the PC version performs better anyway.
Development of this is paused briefly, I've had to return the mac (lol) but work should resume in the next few days :)
