Sujet Taking Live calls on internet radio - Skype? - Page: 2

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Keep us posted blacktalk. Also as mentioned, I'd be happy to pay someone to code this somehow to make it easy with mapping and a skin where we wouldn't have to use Sam, nicecast, or whatever else to simply take calls on skype.

Blacktalkradio, if you're looking for the ability for broadcast that streams copy written music, consider Live365. They have different plans, one of which allows you to legally broadcast in the same manner as Michael Baisden.

I've used Live365 with Sam Broadcaster for my Internet Radio station (www.ChayzLounge.com) since 2004 and have not had an issue. As for taking live calls, I've tried almost every possible method.

The sound quality on Skype was terrible, Virtual Audio Cables (VAC) caused echoes that I was not able to resolve, VOIP's worked with the VAC and again, there was the echo issue. Finally, after countless hours of researching online, I was able to connect my phone to my mixing board.

Here are a couple links that may help:

Hey everyone I am currently in the process of figuring out set up for Skype over VDJ using VAC, hopefully I will have it figured out within the next day or so. I have spoke with lady dj who helped me set up sam broadcaster to do this and she said it is all in the audio config. so its just a matter of figuring out which line goes under master, headphones, and mic

Depending on your set up. Yes. You can use Skype, Facebook Messenger's calling service and, regular cell phone, to make and receive calls. It all depends on your hardware and, it's configuration.
