I was thinking about buying a Midi Fighter or other midi controller to use with Virtual DJ? I was wondering if the midi fighter works well with virtual dj or if i should pick up another Controller?
Thanks!

What do you mean by "does it work well"?
It's just a bunch of buttons! They're either on or off.
You plug it in, map it and press the buttons.
If a grid of buttons is what you need, and you map it the way you like it, then yes it will "work well" - for you.

You will also need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Pro at a discount to be able to use any other MIDI controllers: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
The version that you have now is limited software and will only work with the iDJ3 console.
MIDI Fighter is not natively supported by VirtualDJ but you should be able to map it yourself - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/How%20do%20I%20map%20my%20MIDI%20controller.html and http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ%20Controllers.html

I have the Midi Fighter classic and it doesn't work natively with VDJ. Tried mapping it several times but it seems to be very buggy. Not sure if its a problem with VDJ or the midi fighter. But I think the newer versions of midi fighter are supported. Or at least there are mappings you can download.
