Sujet VDJ Video Error

I've been running VDJ to mix videos for about a year and a half now. I recently stated at a new bar and have had issues with videos. When I select the output (NVIDIA GeForce 6150E) a message pops up that says "error in video drive." What I have been doing to run videos is to expand out the window that pops up in VDJ. The issue I've had with that is the videos lag so bad it's almost unwatchable. The computer does not have an HDMI outport on it, they have an external video card which is an Eclipse SEE2 UV150. All drivers are up to date. Is there a way to remedy this problem??

Thanks!

i don't know anything about that video card but it's a USB to VGA (in my book, it will be crap).

if you want to fix your problem about using the second output of your pc and won't give you error in video driver, this is the fix:

That's the answer you are looking for. Nothing else will do.

Thank you for your help. I do have one more question, would a USB to HDMI output solve the lag issue?

If the computer has a built-in VGA (Blue socket), DVI (Large white socket) or display port output then you should be able to purchase an adaptor or converter to convert this to HDMI. Or you may find the that the TV or projector that you are connecting to has VGA input as well as HDMI.

Using a USB video card will not work because these are not powerful or fast enough for DJ video performance. They are intended for basic use only (E.g: Output business PowerPoint presentation to a projector.)

If you have problems with the built-in video card in your computer, then this could be due to drivers/firmware. Check your computer manufacturer's website for any updates.

NOTE: To be able to play video full-screen, you will need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html - All other versions are limited to a small video output window only that cannot be resized.

If you have already purchased, please register your Pro serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

Otherwise, if you have not purchased VirtualDJ Pro then please support the software and its future development by purchasing it: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html (Especially if you are working DJ and are making money as a result of using it.)

I have a late 2011 macbook pro, I haven't used virtual DJ in a while but just noticed that I am getting error video driver message on all my mp4's that play well in serato. I use virtual dj for certain parties and situations. If anyone has any advice to resolve this issue I would appreciate it.
