Hello, it's my first post =D I've got a question, a question about effects to be specific.

^----I watched DJ Ravine's mix with the DDJ Ergo (hardware) and Algoriddim djay (software) and I noticed at 10:55 he has it looped and then uses the tape stop effect (or break effect on virtual dj) with the whole loop. What I mean by this is that the loop is acting like a big repeating song and that when he applies the effect it slows down every loop (as seen at 10:55). When I use the break effect on a looped section it just starts to slow down then when it reloops it goes back to tempo.
Here is what happens to me when I try it:
