not a new dj but new to the board ........... HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL.
I think I should start by saying thank you to all the support staff. now PLEASE HELP.
I just got a:
dual core A6-4400m
1TB hardrive
8 gigs of ram
windows 8
and just got the new version of virtual dj
i did pre-scanned the both of my drives, with no problems when played with it for 30 mins.
On my first event with my brand new laptop i get videos delays and error messages. WHY? Can please someone direct me to the right post or give me a link to where i can go....how to fix this. i tried to find a post on this matter with no luck.
is it win 8?

By the looks of it you got an AMD graphics card. It seems that AMD GPU have bad drivers that leak memory, i got a macbook pro with amd graphics that i run on windows bootcamp whenever i play video that same message comes up. I used the registry tool to play around with the settings to get it to use about 3gb of ram out of 4.

I believe it's VideoMemMaxUse i set the value to 100. Hope this helps.
