Virtual Dj Staff............ We need "Batch BPM Conversions" I play a lot of music that can be read 2 Ways. Example: Hip-Hop Record that once scanned will read as 150.00 BPM when in actuality it is 75.00 BPM. I wish i could highlight all the files in my folders that are like that click on the "divide by half button" and the software just fixes them all at once. I hate having to do it manually track by track!

Highlight all files of the same BPM you want to change, right click and select File Infos, go to Bpm box, insert your new BPM, select apply to all >ok... jobs a good un'

I've scanned mp3s in Serato and it seems to be more accurate than VDJ, is it possible to use the same settings or engine or whatever is used for VDJ cause I prefer VDJ software, but It is annoying when you sort by BPM and it is not correct.

YOOOOOOOOOOOO! Shout to PhantomDeejay for the tip!!!!!!!
In another post he wrote:
If you want to get really crazy then map a keyboard button as follows:
deck 1 load & deck 1 set_bpm 200% & deck 1 unload & browser_scroll +1
Now sort your browser from lower to highest BPM, highlight the first track and hit the button... Watch the magic! :P
all i did was map this code to the accent key on my mac and change the 200% to 50% and press the accent putton!
it then started cutting all the bpms in half everytime i pressed it while automatically moving on to the next track to repeat the process
PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!

Use http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/13224/VDJFlacTags.html to sync the values back into VDJ

Did you set "allow bpm < 80" to "smart" in config - options?
from the manual:
Allow BPM <80 – Allows adjustment to the BPM Engine‘s value range. Disabled the range is set between 80 and 240. A setting of Smart sets the range for values between 60 and 240.
So if it isn't set to smart VDJ displays 75 bpm tracks as 150 bpm.

It would be nice if it had a bit of intelligence.
If it could be taught the difference between certain genres by feeding it tracks, similar to voice recognition software learning how you pronounce things, then us poor DJs wouldn't have to constantly check for mistokes.

or may be use downbeat anchoring, or begin - end anchoring, or is there a way to make the software count in 4/4 only since mostly all music use that sig...
