Sujet: What should I upgrade to after Mixtrack Pro???

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I've been djing for a while now and had a lot of success so far using VDJ 7 Pro Full with the Mixtrack Pro and I am ready for an upgrade on equipment. I did a gig for a homecoming dance with my uncle and his equipment was much nicer and now I want something like a true mixer with 4 channels and two vinyl style turntables but I don't know what works well with the software. The Mixtrack Pro has worked really well but I want more professional equipment so please help! Any information will help!

Before anyone can advise you on equipment, you need to specify how much you've got to spend.

And the type of DJ you and the kind of events you intend to play. Plus any other information that you think maybe be useful.

Can help aid the discussion.

Cheers,

Roy

Guitar Center has the NS6 on sale Feb 14 - 18 for $699.99, or go with the NS7II when its released.
Whats your budget and what are you doing with it?

In the gigs i've done i've stuck to stuff like hip-hop and house/club music. I also do salsa and merengue but those don't really need anything as far as an upgrade with equipment. Scratching is one of the main reasons that I want to upgrade. I can scratch with the Mixtrack but I want the feel of scratching with the vinyls.

Also I probably have $300-$400, maybe more depending on the quality of the equipment. If it's worth it i'm willing to work with more money.

I appreciate the help already though!!! Much love!!!

Pair of Serato Time Code Vinyl - $26

Total Price: $765 or $665 depending on which mixer you go with

Those mixers have 4 in-4 out conncections, so no external sound card is needed. If you go with different mixers, then you'll need a sound card which will raise the price. You may also want to look into better needles/cartridges than what comes with the Audio-Technica tables, but they should get you by for the time being.

If you want to stick to within your price range, you're not going to have much to choose from unfortunately. These are probably your best options for $300-400
