I have a mack book pro 16gig ram
my problem is when I go to serch the music im plaing jumps and also im loseing all my cue points in songs I have played
can any one help cos im about 2 gigs away from going to serato

If the cue points are being lost then it means that you have a permissions issue so the software can't save them (It can't write to the database) - Please see the following FAQ page: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ%20Folder%20Permissions.html
By 'jumping', if you mean that the music skips/stutters then you need to ensure that your computer has been optimised for DJ use - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Performance%20Issues.html
If you mean that the screen (skin) stops updating momentarily as you type in the search box, but the sound is not affected then this is normal, especially if you have a very large database. The software is simply busy updating the search results. Performing a check, fix and clean (To remove old redundant information) may help: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/I%20get%20an%20error%20message%20saying%20that%20my%20database%20is%20corrupted.html (Make a backup first before doing this.)
