I've been working on a set up basically using
Virtual DJ as the master and having two dj controllers attached to it (Ion Discover DJ & Numark Mixtrack Pro)
Then Using Rewire to slave Reason 5 to VDJ in Line 1, And sneaking my Akai MPK 49 past VDJ and using it to directly control Reason.
This set up has worked wonderfully, and all I had to do was disconnect and reconnect my MPK for it to sync with Reason.
But now I'm having some issues, VDJ has become relentless in holding down my MPK's midi ports.
Meaning no matter what I do my MPK won't control Reason because the ports are being used by VDJ
At times, my MPK's backlight won't turn on when VDJ is on for some odd reason.
And if my MPK is connected when VDJ is starting up, it will stop at "Initializing external devices" and won't open up until I disconnect my MPK.
It seems my MPK has been trapped in VDJ's "Simple MIDI Wrapper" Mapper. And won't let it go.
What can I do to resolve this issue? Is there anyway to make VDJ ignore my MPK so it can let it latch with Reason like before?
