Hi,

I have a query, couldn't find an answer on a search of the forums!

I have just got a Hercules RMX, which comes with VDJ 5 DJC, it is brand new by the way, just from old stock :)

There is an option to upgrade and try the PRO version for 20 days, before it reverts back to a Lite version.

My question is, seeing a we are now on VDJ 7, if I opt for a trial upgrade, will that be for a PRO version of 5, or will it go up to 7? Also, after 20 days, does it revert back to a Lite version of 5 or 7?

Sorry if that sounds like a dumb question, just not sure how it works lol!

Learning curve after a 10 year break from dj'ing, cut my teeth on vinyl, then cdj's for years lol!

Will it go back to vdj 5 after the trial or revert to vdj 7 LE?
 
Once you register your software you can get the newest version of le.

Check the downloads section under updates.
 
Not all products that ship with LE get LE version updates. The Original RMX is one that latest version of the LE is 5.2.2 - not version 7.x.

Your 20-day PRO Trial will be of the PRO version 5 - NOT the latest version.

And Yes, after the 20-day trial it will revert to the same Limited Edition features for that version - version 5.

If you wish to test with the latest version - you can download the FREE HOME version and test ( in 10 minute sessions ) the functionality of the RMX with the latest version 7.4.
 
Wow my bad. Didn't realize they weren't all up to date. Checked my Denon and it had the newest version. Figured it was like that for all of them.
 
I would suggest you go to the Hercules website and download the latest drivers for the RMX.
