Ok so another problem today !
When I change the Input setting on Sound setup to Mic the actual sound that comes out of my speakers is distorted quite badly. It's hard to describe but I have a recording of it if anyone wants to hear it. As soon as I change the input back to None the distortion goes and everything sounds good again - anyone got any ideas on this issue?
just for clarification at the moment I haven't even got the mic plugged into my controller (Pioneer Ergo-k) but the same thing happens when the mic is plugged in. Mic volume levels have been tested at all levels but even if it was these I can understand why the distortion would apply to the sound on the decks / samples ect..
It also seems to be an intermittent problem - if I change the input from mic to none and back again a few times sometimes there is distortion and sometimes not - if that makes sense.
I would be grateful for any advice offered.
