Hey, I have had a Pioneer DDJ ergo for at least 5 months now, i used it on my macbook and it worked fine, i just recently bought a new computer (windows, ASUS) and i installed everything on the disks i got with the deck but the deck still is unresponsive, the lights light up red around the jog wheels but the buttons or anything on the deck just doesn't control the display on the computer, sound goes through it but the deck just simply doesn't control anything on the computer screen. help please i have upcoming gigs i need to prepare for :(

First make sure you download the latest firmware/drivers from pioneer http://pioneerdj.com/support/inquiry.php?lang=en
If you're using USB 3.0 could be an conflict. Try connecting to 2.0 USB ports.

so it works (thank you very much) yet it wont work with VDJ pro, wouldn't have a clue why, it does the exact same thing, any answers?

This is possibly because you are using an out-of-date version of VirtualDJ Pro.
Please register your Pro serial number to your account http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
If you have not purchased VirtualDJ Pro then please support the software and its future development by purchasing it: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html (Especially if you are working DJ and are making money as a result of using it at your gigs.)
If it came with VirtualDJ LE included then the LE serial number should entitle you to a discount off the cost of upgrading (Providing that it's not second hand and has not already been used.)
