define "easier and simpler", It cant get much easier than "keylearn", "action learn", "mouseclick". If you want to take it further and make macro's it's much simpler and quicker that Traktor because you can simply type what you want to happen. In Traktor you need to select everything from menu's and everything is a workaround to do things that should be simple, And the worst thing is there is no way to copy what you have done with one deck so everything must be added again, it's fine for simple mapping but for even basic macro's it takes a lot of time.
If you mean definition files there is an app from chackl to help in the downloads->tools section. But definitions are just XML which is pretty simple once you get your head around it.
