The MC6000 is not recognized on one laptop. It is recognized on my other computer. I installed the asio drivers on a Windows XP operating system. In VDJ Config it is does show under mappers.
What could be blocking it from being recognized? This must be a laptop configuration issue.

I'm confused.
You say it's not recognised but then say it "is does show" under mappers. Are you saying it shows under mappers (in which case it is recognised) but you can't use it?
In what way is it not recognised? Does Windows make the "ding dong" sound when you connect it?
Is the XP computer the one where it's not showing, or the working one?

Sorry, It works on one computer and not on another. No it does not say "Ding...found new hardware". It is not located in Virtual DJ. Usually the hardware is listed so you could map. I tried it on another computer to make sure there was nothing wrong with the Denon MC6000

Are you using the same USB cable with both computers?
On the computer that doesn't work, did you try a different USB socket?
