Sujet: Resize effects floating windows?

In previous demo vids it was shown to be possible to resize the floating effects windows, as well as drag them around.

Now it seems we can't do that.

Yes, it was better to lock the size to avoid other issues.
 
But they are tiny.
 
out of curiousity, are there any other major features, that have been advertised many times during development, such as the timeline which now is the editors, been scratched or changed dramatically like those mentioned?

Love the new V8 and the many features that got a rework or are completely new, just wondered what else might not be as we expected .
