Now that the weekend is almost here, what is the official last update and are there going to be any more updates prior to next week? Would not want a surprise on Saturday. :)

Updates to a Pre-Release software may be pushed at any time. BUT, they will not push whilst the software is open, they only display on launch.
If you have a concern you can turn off updates in the config menu. Or just use V7 for time being.

Judging by the number of bugs reported, I'm pretty certain there will be new builds released over the next couple of days. Guess we will have to wait and see. I wouldn't recommend using VDJ 8 live at a gig yet though.

Keep in mind its still recommended to use 7 and not the 8 pre-release for important events.

Well, despite the bug list, none of them impact me or any known work arounds are enough. I use a DAC-3. Don't do video at the moment. And use a simple USB 7.1 sound card.
So, I'll give 8 a whirl and if it does something stupid, I will have 7 at the ready. Gotta get used to it one way or another.

I have not had any issues with using 8 so far, but the only thing keeping me from using it live is the missing midi clock. I need that to communicate with my lighting software.
