so far I like VDJ8 however i'm having a huge problem scratching using the jog wheels on my VMS4. When I move the jogwheel anticlockwise in terms of a backspin there is no sound just when i scratch forwards does the sound of scratching appear?? can anyone tell me the recommended setting to scratch with VDJ8 and on a VMS4? I have to say though the crossfader response is so much more accurate and fast when I cut on the vms4 than the previous vdj7 version.
honestly I haven't had much time to play with this new pre-release.
all opinions/help welcome!

Do you have smartscratch set to yes?
If so, switch it to no.

Whilst VMS4 can manager timecode - this issue was not timecode related.
Please stay in the other thread for timecode - thanks ;-)
