Sujet Scan collection for BPM... show me how. - Page: 3

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Add them to your database by right clicking on the folder and I bet they show up in the filter.

Also, when scanning, music videos show up with a 4 digit bit rate... doubt that is correct.

They're in the database already.

Just do me a favor and right click on the folder and add it to the database and then see of they show up in the filter...

When I set the filter folder for unscanned tracks, it also shows samples, which then stops me from scanning the folder for bpm's etc.

How can I set the filter folder to just include unscanned audio tracks, or just my drive E, for example.

If you don't mind, can we solve my issue first so we don't gum up this thread with multiple issues.

did you test it groovin?

Posté Tue 20 May 14 @ 2:21 pm

Of course the tracks should be added to the search db first.
If not, how would VDJ be able to "know" that there are unscanned tracks?

That behaviour hasn't changed from v7 to v8.

You could try this:

isscanned=0 and type=audio or type=video

(or if isscanned doesn't work just use scanned=0)

another way:

isscanned=0 and file path starts with "E:\"

Thanks for confirming what we already found out....

Wow y'all really can complicate things, lmmfao!!

The only difference between this and 8 is that now you can it check a certain folder and just like in 7 YOU HAVE ADD THEM TO THE SEARCH DATABASE.

Not so easy when the moderators and testers didn't even know... right?

Well thanks for making us feel better for the HOURS of support we've been putting in.

One small mistake - but thanks!!

You misunderstood Dan. I was only stating that I was not the ONLY ONE who missed it.

You should know how much I appreciate the efforts, I state it in MANY of my posts.

(Geesh)

Ok - maybe i did misunderstand. It's be a long couple of weeks.

I apologise if i gave you the wrong information also....

It's all good Dan. I appreciate the work of the VDJ team more than you will ever know!

I do this for a living and this has to be right.

Just reported a few Mac issues... another crash, automix issues, video issues, etc...

Can you try using a filter folder:

Group by Scanned

Does this return better results?

EDIT: No it doesn't - lol

Don't forget that a batch scan of tracks right now is bugged (been confirmed and is with devs hopefully). It gets some BPM's/Beatgrid/Keys wrong that an individual track scan gets right. Just so you know.

@DJ Craig:
I can confirm this. A scan of all files gets wrong results (tested with mac build 1806).
Hope the fix comes soon ;o)
