hi all I'm on a macbook pro running mavericks with virtual 8,
i downloaded a few plugins i really wanted to use like sbdj scroll text and clip bank but when i try to install it it just opens up a box of code in terminal. i even tried dragging the unix executable file into the video effects folder under plugins in vdj in my documents...can someone explain how to do this please.

The plugins you mention:
Clipbank is no longer support in version 8 - you can use the sampler for video and image sample.
Scrolltext requires updated by the plugin developer, you will have to be patient for this,

Yes - you need to use the sample editor.
